Hi! My name is Leon, and I am a friendly, reliable, and responsible person who enjoys helping others and building meaningful connections. I have experience as part of a Senior Wellbeing Assistance Team (SWAT), where I worked to support seniors' wellbeing and create positive experiences through visits and social interaction. I also served as a Visit Leader, which involved taking responsibility, organizing activities, and ensuring that everyone felt included, comfortable, and valued. Through this role, I developed strong communication skills, patience, empathy, and an understanding of how important companionship can be. My interest in elderly care has also been shaped by my aunt, who works with seniors on a daily basis. Through her experiences and stories, I have gained a deeper appreciation for the importance of providing support, dignity, and companionship to older adults. Outside of volunteering, I am an active football player and have had the responsibility of serving as a team captain. This experience taught me leadership, dependability, teamwork, and how to support others both on and off the field. I take pride in being someone people can count on and trust.
